In the corporate world, the sheer volume of work, pressure to hit targets, lack of control over your workload, and client demands - all of these factors can take a heavy toll on your mental health and contribute to anxiety, depression, burnout and unfulfillment.
Based on my experience as a lawyer and therapist, I employ practical, strategic and effective therapy solutions to address often inflexible workplace structures so you can feel more empowered.
I provide a safe, supportive and uniquely reflective space to look at how lawyers or your firm's talent can gain balance at work. Understanding the underlying, deep-rooted reasons for stress or anxiety at work and gaining insight can enable lasting change so you or your team can feel more in control and balance.
Areas I often work across include boundary setting, unconscious beliefs of not feeling you are enough, perfectionism and anxiety, imposter syndrome, and psychological defences that can keep you unknowingly stuck in unconscious relationship patterns that are re-enacted even through work relationships.
Areas of focus can include processing and support around stress and anxiety caused by demanding workloads and relationships, whether with internal or external clients, or the genuine distress arising from exposure to complex and difficult work material. You can use the space in an intensive or more open capacity for several sessions.
For certain professions, such as law and medicine, the sessions may be used as part of the reflective practice requirements of the professional's regulating body.
